Hawker Vs. Hawk

Parents Against Tony Hawk (PATH), a Christian “organization” started by a fellow named Mike Hawker, have started a petition asking that offensive song lyrics be removed from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series of video games, according to the Danville Register Bee. 250 signatures have been gathered already. Good luck to them. However, I don’t completely disagree with Mr. Hawker, who “objects to ‘Blood Brothers’ by Papa Roach, which is on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.” Yeah. I object to Papa Roach, also.

In other Tony Hawk news, Hawk will be appearing with Blink-182 on the 300th (really the 302nd, but whatever) episode of The Simpsons, airing later this month, and I can’t say that I care. The past two seasons I’ve bitched about how much the show sucked, but I still watched every episode. Not anymore. I’ve only seen one episode this season (the first). If only I could give up Pepsi and red meat as easily.
